1. Participation
Participation in Lotus & Wattle is voluntary. No individual is required to proceed with an introduction, or continue communication beyond your comfort zone.Inappropriate pressure, coercion, or expectation of participation is not consistent with the values of the network and may lead to suspension or termination of membership.
2. Mutual consent
Introductions only proceed where there is willingness from both sides. Interest, communication, and continued engagement should never be assumed and we want your best match not just any match.
A person has the right to pause, decline, or withdraw from an interaction at any stage when using our service, a reason is not required though you should be open with the other party.
3. Profile authenticity
Profiles should be truthful and accurate. Misrepresentation of key personal information such as identity, age or marital status is inconsistent with our values.
4. Privacy and discretion
Lotus & Wattle is not a public service, profile details are not publicly accessible and profiles must not be shared with third parties without consent.
- Screenshots or copying of private profile content must not be done without permission, your privacy and that of other members is critical to us.
- We have a 100% privacy policy. We do not share any personal information with third parties without explicit consent.
5. Respectful communication
Communication between members should remain respectful and appropriate. Harassment, pressure, manipulation, inappropriate behavior or repeated unwanted contact is not acceptable within the Lotus & Wattle network.
6. Profile visibility and access
Access to profiles may be limited, delayed, reviewed or withheld where necessary for safety, fit or administrative reasons.
7. Screening and review
To protect the quality and integrity of the network Lotus & Wattle will conduct manual review of applications, profiles and participation status. This is to ensure that the network remains a safe, respectful, and high-quality environment for all members.
8. Your safety
If a member feels uncomfortable, pressured or unsafe in any interaction, they should pause communication and report the concern to Lotus and Wattle, your safety takes priority over everything else.
9. Your responsibility
Lotus & Wattle may facilitate introductions, but each individual remains responsible for their own boundaries, communication, decisions, and personal judgment.
